Daily Express, 24 September 1972: The most famous headline in Philippine History. Now read the rest of the paper scanned from photocopies of the original in the possession of Michael Charleston “Xiao” Chua. The original I bought for only Php 150.00 when I was still in college in a thrift shop near the Cubao post office now demolished. Personally signed by First Lady Imelda Romualdez Marcos in 2005. Download and use but please cite me whenever possible. Thanks.
Published in WordPress to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the headline on the Proclamation of Martial Law, in the service of Filipino teachers and history enthusiasts.
